Entrepreneurship

Big Muxima wants to cause an eruption of ideas ready to blossom from the young generations. Those ideas are in a sleeping mode now because the young generation in Angola, especially the Youth in Orphanages, still do not have the opportunity to convey their thoughts, dreams, and ambitions. They need to be understood and stimulated to present their insights with no fear, they need to learn that there is not such a bad idea, all ideas are valid and need to be developed. Entrepreneurship and innovation fuel economic growth. Entrepreneurs create businesses and new businesses create jobs, strengthen market competition, and increase productivity. There are lots of opportunities in Angola to take advantage of.

Gender Equality - SDG 5
Partnerships For The Goals - SDG 17

Big Muxima would like to play an important role in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015.

There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

Big Muxima will tackle at least 09 out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, working with the Youth in orphanages.
To help young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, to develop their capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

To act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 living in orphanages by providing advice and assistance and organizing programs of physical, educational, and other activities as a means of:

  • Advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities, and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature, and responsible individuals.

  • Advancing education.

  • Relieving unemployment.

  • Providing recreational and leisure time activities in the interests of social welfare for people living in orphanages who need because of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty, or social and economic circumstances to improve the conditions of life of such generation.
