Big Muxima believes in the transformative power of ideas from Angola’s youth. Many of these ideas remain dormant, especially among young people living in orphanages, due to a lack of opportunities to express their dreams and ambitions. We want to create a safe space where every young person learns that there are no bad ideas — all can be developed and turned into impactful projects.

Entrepreneurs create businesses, and new businesses generate jobs, increase productivity, and strengthen the economy. Angola is full of opportunities waiting to be seized. Big Muxima encourages innovation and entrepreneurship to boost sustainable development.

We are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities, improve education and health, combat climate change, and protect natural resources. Big Muxima works directly to achieve 9 of the 17 SDGs, focusing on young people in vulnerable situations.

 

🤝 Comprehensive Support for Young People

 

We provide counselling, educational programmes, physical and recreational activities for young people up to 25 years old in orphanages. The goal is to develop skills, promote education, reduce unemployment, and create conditions for every young person to become an independent, responsible citizen prepared for life.
