Donors

Big Muxima recognises the importance of what has been achieved so far by all existing philanthropic groups, but also understands that simply giving is not the best solution for the younger generation in orphanages, as it creates dependency and fosters the perception that everything in life will come through donations. Providing food, clothing, and other items remains a very important commitment and will always be welcomed by the most vulnerable, but it is time for change — time to show them how to “fish” rather than just wait for the “fish” to be served.
This is where Big Muxima will make a difference: we will provide the younger generation with proper academic training, the necessary tools, and the right attitude to build a new nation and envision a better place to live, work, and thrive.
For this reason, all support from our donors will be directed towards funding education and vocational training programmes, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — Agenda 2030.

José Bancaleiro and Pedro Ramos launched the second volume of the book Conta-me Estórias - Storytelling na Gestão de Pessoas. In this book, they gather the experiences of several Human Resource Managers from Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, and East Timor. People who like people, and managers who share interesting episodes in different organizations, sizes, and cultures, understand the importance of people in the success of business and organizations.
