Big Muxima is a non-profit organisation, registered in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for children and young adults living in orphanages and care centres in Angola 🇦🇴. Our mission is to provide real opportunities for education and training, preparing them for an independent and dignified life.
💼 What We Do
We believe that donations alone do not guarantee a sustainable future. That is why we work to ensure these children and young people acquire essential skills for the job market and for life. We do not aim to replace the Angolan education system, but rather to complement it, filling gaps and ensuring quality education for one of the country’s most vulnerable groups.

We want to rebuild a nation of new citizens.
We want to develop social entrepreneurship projects.
We will engage and educate children and young people in orphanages to empower them to become independent.
This means that THEY will contribute in the future to a society that is more entrepreneurial, cooperative, prosperous, and supportive.
🎯 Our Mission
Initially, we will work with a few orphanages in the city of Luanda 🏙️, integrate new orphanages as we grow, and gradually cover the entire country 🇦🇴.
We will place emphasis on Education 📚, Preventive Health 🩺, Climate Education 🌍, Vocational Training 🛠️, and Entrepreneurship 🚀, with the long-term vision of educating for entrepreneurship, citizenship, and life; teaching disadvantaged young people to turn their dreams into reality.
